Mr. Senanayake Bandara is a distinguished public servant and valuation expert who began his career as an Assistant Valuation Officer in the Valuation Department of Sri Lanka. By the time of his retirement, he had risen to the position of Deputy Chief Valuation Officer, marking a career of dedication and integrity in public service.

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree in Estate Management and Valuation

  • Diploma in Land Settlement and Development

Professional Contributions

Over the course of his career, Mr. Bandara has held several senior roles within the Valuation Department, including:

  • Training Director

  • Data and Information Director

  • Welfare Division Director

He also continues to serve as a Valuation Officer for public and private banks in Sri Lanka and is a regular member of the Chartered Surveyors and Surveyors Association, contributing his expertise to both public and private sectors.

Religious and Social Contributions

Mr. Bandara is deeply committed to the revival and support of Buddhist religious initiatives. Notably, he:

  • Financed and led the construction of the Samadhi Buddha statue at Ambuluwawa

  • Contributed to every Buddhist structure developed within the Ambuluwawa Religious and Biodiversity Complex
